Summary
"Includes Sketches of little girls by Julia Corner (63, [1] p., second count), with separate title page. Series transposed from head of title page. Earlier issues of Spring flowers published by Edward Dunigan contain a statement attributing it to "Julia Parley." The conclusion to Sketches of little girls is signed, "Thomas Lovechild." Both names are pseudonyms used by various authors including Julia Corner, Robert Edgar, and Mrs. Burden. McLoughlin Bros. was located at 24 Beekman St., New York, between 1858 and 1862. In red cloth. Pagination includes [16] leaves of hand-colored wood-engraved plates. Plates set in creme tinted frames."
