"Description: Two poems signed, "M.A.A.C." with chromolithographed illustrations that look like the work of Ida Waugh; Santa's favorites was one of eleven booklets issued in hand-decorated linen covers that were listed in the Prang publisher's catalog for 1892-1893; cf. Katharine Morrison McClinton, The chromolithographs of Louis Prang (1973), p. 116. Copy in hand has front cover design of Japanese lanterns; Publisher's device of L. Prang & Co. precedes imprint on title page: It is a wafer with a rose on the top half and the letter "P" on the bottom half."--Home page.
