Clean-up of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The ship "TransOcean Discoverer Enterprise" is collecting oil and gas from the well head and burning it off. The rig in the foreground is doing the same. Support ships are spraying seawater to keep it cool, and other boats are there for support and supplies. The spill from the seabed well head released 4.9 million barrels of oil, the largest marine spill ever, before being capped on 15th July. Filmed from a US Coast Guard helicopter on 20th June 2010.
