C'est au nom de "la lutte contre le terrorisme" qu'une opération spéciale - nom de code Condor - a été menée dans les années 70 et 80 en Amérique du Sud. Sa cible était alors les forces et organisations de gauche.Initiée par Pinochet, Condor devint rapidement un réseau reliant les dictatures militaires du Chili, d'Argentine et du Paraguay, soutenu par le département d'Etat américain, la CIA et Interpol. Rodrigo Vazquez suit non seulement le parcours de plusieurs victimes à la recherche de la vérité mais il amène également certains leaders de Condor à témoigner. Depuis les événements du 11 septembre 2001, ceux-ci revendiquent ouvertement être les pionniers de l'actuel combat contre le "terrorisme international".
It was in the name of "the fight against terrorism" that a special operation - codenamed Condor - was carried out in the 1970s and 1980s in South America. Its target was then left forces and organizations. Initiated by Pinochet, Condor quickly became a network linking the military dictatorships of Chile, Argentina and Paraguay, supported by the US State Department, the CIA and Interpol. Rodrigo Vazquez not only follows the journey of several victims in search of the truth, but he also leads some Condor leaders to testify. Since the events of September 11, 2001, they openly claim to be the pioneers of the current fight against "international terrorism".
