- This small, calf-bound receipt book contains 100 pages of manuscript receipt notes recorded by Benjamin Van Horn, 1795-1805; Rebecca Van Horn, 1805-1820; Elias Stricker, 1821-1843; William Streaker, 1843-1850; and David Van Horn Streaker, 1850-1853. Rebecca Van Horn created the majority of the entries for goods, services, and taxes paid in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Burlington, New Jersey. Later entries are for rent paid.
