Contains the legislature's resolution of Feb. 15, 1809, against the Embargo Act, with several documents dated 1812 concerning its relationship with the John Henry spy mission.
"In the House of Representatives, June 27, 1812. Ordered--That the clerk be directed to publish one thousand copies of the above documents, to publish the same in the several newspapers in the commonwealth in which the laws of the state are printed, and to enter them at large upon the journal of this House."--p. 14.
