- The calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages duplicate those (also by David Young) in The Citizen & farmer's almanac for 1820 (Shaw & Shoemaker 47621), which is calculated for the meridian of Morristown, New Jersey; except that a column for the sun's declination replaces one for the moon's southing. The extensive eclipse predictions are also identical, with some variation in the wording.
The calendar pages, with the eclipse predictions and astrological preliminaries on p. [2-3] are identical in content and typography with those in: Hutchins' revived almanac, for the year of our Lord, 1820 (Shaw & Shoemaker 48306 and 48307), by David Young, printed by Charles N. Baldwin.
Title vignette. The Anatomy is the only other illustration.
