Summary

A comparative study of the radiation hazards to which the people working in installations of the Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique are exposed was made and the results reported. The few contamination and irradiation incidents were discussed. Contaminating sources are classified according to the recommendations of the International Commission on Radiologic Protection. The dangers of irradiated elements are discussed. The controls and regulations used for radiation protection are described. (J.S.R.)
