- Summary
- The effect of x and ganama radiation on rice grains (Oryza sativa L.) and grape pips (Vitis vinifera L.) was investigated. The study of the physiological effects showed a delay in the germination and growth, a decrease of the germinating faculty, and the appearance of nuraerous anomalies. These effects appear to increase with an increase of the dose administered. The restoration of lesions caused by the radiations follows a sigmoid curve comparable to that obtained for other biological materials. The study of the genetic effects has as yet yielded no precise results. (J.S.R.)
