- Summary:
- A study was made of Ir and Os isotopes with excess neutrons, which can be obtained by the action of neutrons on platinum. Disirtegration curves are given for Ir/sup 195/, Os/sup 193/, and Os/sup 195/. It was determined that Os/ sup 189/ and Os/sup 192/ were stable and had no known isomers. Two isomers (14 hr and 16 days) were found for Os/sup 191/. The 6.5-min half life activity was concluded to be Os/sup 195/. (W.D.M.)
