Summary

Based on the classic crime novels by Margery Allingham, this 1930s detective drama stars Peter Davison as the enigmatic sleuth Albert Campion. Aided by his faithful companion Magersfontein Lugg, the duo try to prevent the theft of a priceless artefact and investigate a family disappearance for an old friend. The mysterious murder of a man who was already meant to be dead and the death of an artist also call on all of Campion's detective skills. Campion needs to draw on all his skills and intellect to pull the pieces of this puzzle together. Why was 'Pig' Peters reported dead when he wasn't? And who really killed him several months later?
