Summary

Equal volumes of sodium carbonate and barium chloride solutions of varying concentrations were mixed. The systems were kept at 25 deg C for 24 hours and then filtered. The quantity of precipitated uranyl ion was determined polarographically. Electron microscope photographs illustrate the appearance of the complex precipitate. (W.D.M.)
