- Description: Part of a series of fur sales books used in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries by Hudson's Bay Company. For most purchases, the records note lot number, variety of fur, the factory from which the fur originated, quantity, price per skin, total price of sale and buyer. Price totals are carried over to arrive at yearly totals. Records are arranged chronologically by sale date, and then by name of buyer.
