- Leningrad-born Ludmila Semenyaka made her first impression internationally at the 1969 Moscow competition, and three years later was invited to join the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow. This video shows why she has long been considered one of the world's prima ballerinas. In this program Ms. Semenyaka performs excerpts from many of her most famous roles, and is paired with some of the greatest dancers of the past two decades.
