Summary:

The method used at the Center of Nuclear Studies of Ispra for the measurement of total radioactivity of fission products in the atmosphere is described. The relative data concerning the period February 1, 1958 to November 30, 1959, are referred. Moreover, the technique used to date nuclear explosions some rapid discrimination methods of artificial radioactivity from natural air radioactivity and the method employed for determining the absolute efficiency of measurement of the experimental device are described.
