Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad Company [electronic resource] : At a meeting of the board of directors held Wednesday, February 12, 1868, it was "Voted, that a meeting of the stockholders be called to meet on the first day of April, at the office of the company at Chicago, to see whether the company will agree to extend further aid to the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad ... an explanatory circular, to be drawn by the chairman of the board, shall be sent to each stockholder." ...
