Ellis opened his school at Kington, Mass., in 1847. Cf. Melville, D.J. Major Bradford's town, 1976, p. 200. The American Antiquarian Society copy has a ms. bill, dated Jan. 28, 1857, presented to George T. King, of Worcester, in the amount of $5 for services rendered by Attorney Ira M. Barton in the suit of Ira Bryant vs. Geo. T. King.
