Followed by a prosectus for a new volume of the Brother Jonathan, an advertisement for the Dollar magazine, with a list of premiums for subscriptions. "The above works are in fact issued as holiday presents, combining what few do, standard literary merit, with graceful adornment. They will be forwarded in any manner that the person who becomes entitled to a copy by complying with the above terms, may direct."
Includes fourteen wood-engravings drawn by D.C.J. [i.e., David Claypoole Johnston] and engraved by Roberts [i.e., Robert Roberts].
