- Includes four votes relative to the increase of the capital stock by $270,000 through the creation of six hundred new shares, to be subscribed for within thirty days, and "The following votes were passed at a meeting of the directors held this day, subsequently to the special meeting of the stockholders ... In accordance with the foregoing votes, you are notified that subscriptions for the new shares of the proprietors of the Tremont Mills will continue to be received ... fifty per cent of which must be paid on or before May 2, 1868, and the balance on or before October 1, 1868, when certificates of stock will be issued."
