Wood-engraving at head, signed by Reuben S. Gilbert, has caption, "Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adders; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet." Flanking the woodcut are Bible verses beginning with, "He that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death. Ex.xxi.16."
On silk; printed area, including ornamental border, measures 46.2 x 30.2 cm.
