Imprint date suggested by content, which includes table projecting future "annual consumption and the cash capital required for the business in its progressive increase," commencing April 1, 1833, through 1840. Also, the American Antiquarian Society copy bears a February postmark, suggesting circulation immediately prior to the appointment by the Pennsylvania legislature, on March 18, 1833, of the Packer Commission, which would investigate the state's coal industry and trade.
