Summary

This brief book is a commentary and criticism of works by Theodore Parker, Ralph Waldo Emerson and George William Curtis. It is the belief of the author that Parker is a "hypocrite and an infidel," Emerson's "teachings end in delusion," and Curtis "stirs up vain and useless discontents among the weaker portion of the female sex."
