Summary
ABS>Provision for accommodating transition boiling test sections was completed with the addition of a 125-kw d-c power supply and special piping to the General Electric Test Facility. Shakedown testing was carried out on a 2-rod cluster test section. The design and preparation of shop drawings for the fabrication of a new high-pressure observational test section are nearly completed. Development of optics, photography, and techniques to minimize fluid disturbances that can obscure viewing will be carried out on an atmospheric pressure loop that is presentiy being built. (auth)
