Summary
The buckling was measured for three different fuel element types in random arrays. The average value of the buckling was less than the buckling of uniform arrays in all three cases, but in view of the 95% confidence limit, it is not considered advisable to increase the safe critical limits of random arrays above those of uniform arrays.
