Summary
The temperature distribution in Al cladding, Al spacer, and fuel in the vicinity of the end of a fuel slug was determined. The effects of varying the length of the unfinned surface were investigated. An organic coolant temperature of 600 deg F and an asymptotic cladding surface temperature of 750 deg F were assumed. (W.L.H.)
