Summary
A literature search was made to evaluate the heat transfer and thermodynamic information available for mercury. At present, no completely theoretical evaluation of the forced convection, boiling, or condensing properties of this metal have been successful. Evaluations of information on forced heat transfer, boiling and condensing heat transfer coefficients, and thermodynamic properties of mercury vapor are presented. (J.R.D.)
