- Summary
- A graphical method was developed for the study of hammer effects in piping, fluid mechanics, and elasticity of solids. This method was later used for solving electric transient problems related to electrical transmission lines. The method is further developed in order to produce a graphical method for the solution of the differential equation systems which define reactor transients, the variation of core material concentnations (U/sup 235/, Pu, Xe), and excess reactivity with core life.
