Summary

A research program is being conducted in support of efforts to find new non-nuclear applications for uranium. Some of the results are presented in the form of eleven chapters on the alloying effects of uranium on the various metallurgical, mechanical, corrosion, and other properties of ferrous alloys and steels. Separate abstracts were prepared for ten of the chapters; the remaining chapter was previously abstracted in NSA. (D.L.C.)
