A review was conducted of the properties of CaO, BaO, CeO/sub 2/, La/sub 2/O/sub 3/, Y2/sub O3, and Nb2/O/sub 5/ with particular attentlon to their use in solution, and parameters for bonding to UO/sub 2/ in solid solutions and in stoichiometric compounds.
