Carreta brought a redhibitory action against Lopez, alleging that a slave he had been sold had been afflicted with insanity at the time of the sale. The evidence showed that this allegation was correct, that Lopez had known about the affliction, and that the affliction had not been visibly apparent. Judgment upheld.
