- Summary:
- Plaintiff sued for part of the property administered by the defendant, the syndic of the plaintiff's husband. The plaintiff had filed a suit against her husband laying claim to several items as her personal property, including two slaves. She had feared that his affairs had become 'deranged' and he subsequently became insolvent. The defendant said the property belonged to the husband and accused the plaintiff and her husband of fraud. Judgement amended to annul the claim to the two slaves but otherwise affirmed in favour of the plaintiff.
