- An appeal by a slave against a charge of attempting to rape a six year old white girl. The defendant's counsel argued that the girl was not old enough to be raped. The Court upheld the judgment against the slave, except for its orders for an execution date, for which it ordered a court to convene for the purpose of designating a revised date for the execution.
