- Summary
- A suit brought to arrest the sale of a slave. The appellant had bought the slave after separating from her husband. The slave was consequently seized by judgment creditors for a debt against her husband. The injunction was dissolved and the plaintiff appealed. The Supreme Court upheld the decision made by the District Court.
