Actions for To the honorable the Senate and House of Representatives, in General Court assembled : the undersigned, being interested in the tanning and leather business, having learned that an application has been made to the Legislature for an act to incorporate a company, for the purpose of procuring the extract of bark for tanning, and believing, from the experience and knowledge we have of the tanning business, that the incorporation of such a company would be injurious to the manufacture of leather in this commonwealth ... respectfully remonstrate against the passage of the bill to incorporate the Bark Extract Company
