Summary
Two configurations of radiation detectors, used at ORNL for monitoring branch lines of the process waste-water sewer for radioactive contamination, were calibrated to obtain beta- and gamma-energy response curves. These curves, and published data on decay schemes, were used to calculate the response of the detectors to several isotopes. The detectors and calibration procedure are described, and the calibration data are analyzed. (auth)
