Summary
Improvement in the technology of sealing fiber optic fuceplates to various types and sizes of vacuum envelopes is reported. Good mechanical seals using both 1 and 5 inch fiber optic fuceplates are reported. Details of other experiments are given, and indications of the direction in which further work is now processing are surumarized. (For preceding period see AECU 4622.) (J.R.D.)
