An experiment on elastic K/sup +/-p scattering at 970 to 1970 Mev is described. Spark chambers are used to measure d sigma /d OMEGA at angles greater than about 10 deg , and counters are used for the small-angle scattering. Results showed a deviation of angular distributions from anisotropy that increases with energy. Other obsevations were that the Swave contribution to the elastic scattering is decreasing rapidly at 1 Bev/c and that predictions of phase shifts lead to a more or less stable estimate of the real part of the forward scattering amplitude. At 1970 Mev/c the angular distribution shows a pronounced diffraction peak on a small almost isotropic distribution of about 0.05 mb/sr. (J.R.D.)
