Summary

Experiments to measure gross and local power distributions in the Shippingport Pressurized Water Reactor Core 2 Mock-up have been performed and compared with a nuclear design model developed for this core. The results show a consistent deviation over a wide range of core conditions and thus permit adjustment of calculation when the power capability of the core is evaluated. (auth)
