Summary
Safe and sustainable nanotechnology, a theme of this collection, is a challenging issue that needs to be discussed in a view of frontier technology for the future. Nanotechnology applications with safety concern are a key to sustainable development. The volume contains 19 peer reviewed papers covering the multiple meanings of the term advanced materials in micro and nanoscale for future sustainability.
