- "H.R.H The Duchess of York lends her name to Britain's latest cruiser H.M.S 'York', launched at Jarrow." (11). GV a crowded street decorated with flags and bunting. Royal procession of cars drive through the street and stop outside a building (17). MS of a section of the street with a crowd of adults and children waving frantically. The exterior of the house is decorated with pictures of the Royal family and a big banner stating 'God bless you and your canny bairn' (30). MS of a procession of dignitaries (35). MS of an admiral and Duke of York (later George VI) inspecting the naval guard (40). LS of the Duke and Duchess of York (Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon) walking past the naval guard (56). MS of the Duke of York walking past soldiers (59). MS of the Duke and Duchess walking to the cruiser. HA at the Duke and Duchess in front of the cruiser with a large crowd looking on (69).
