- Summary
- The arom enzyme system of Neurospora crassa is a pentafunctional enzyme conjugate which catalyzes five steps in the synthesis of the aromatic amino acids. The occurrence of five enzymes on a single polypeptide chain has provided a unique opportunity to examine the response of a multi-domained protein structure to limited proteolytic attack.
