- Summary
- "This monograph presents a primarily descriptive summary of archaeological settlement patterns in the Temascalapa region in the northeastern Basin of Mexico. The Temascalapa region consists of two geographically separate sections, a larger northern tract and a smaller western tract, which in essence represent extensions of the previously surveyed Teotihuacan region. The monograph discusses information on prehispanic settlement patterns obtained during two field seasons in the mid-1970s: a short, one-month preliminary effort in August 1974, during which part of the northern portion of the Temascalapa region was surveyed; and a three-month season from September through November 1975, during which the remaining, vast majority of the region was surveyed."--
