- Letter written on Nov. 12, 1755 by Virginia Lieutenant Governor Dinwiddie to Robert Hunter Morris, Governor of Pennsylvania. In this letter Dinwiddie writes about the progress of the French and Indian War and regrets that Virginia is unable to supply Pennsylvania with arms for the defence of her border.
