Based on 1732 manuscript map by Christophe Dufrost de La Jemerais. Shows large region in Western Canada and the West (U.S.), but most detailed in the area roughly bounded by the northern shore of Lake Superior, the Pigeon River, Lake of the Woods, Lake Winnipeg, and the Assiniboine River. Identifies forts, villages, Indian regions, the route to and 'Riviere de l'Ouest', and the 'chemin des guerriers'.
