- Summary
- The hydrogen reduction kinetics of U/sub 0/./sub 75/Pu/sub 0/./sub 25/O/sub 2/ have been investigated at temperatures from 1000 to 1400/sup 0/C and hydrogen flow rates not limiting to the reduction rate. Under these experimental conditions, reduction is controlled by the surface reaction rate which obeys a kinetic expression analogous to the Zeldovitch equation of chemisorption.
