Communication signed by New Hampshire Governor Wentworth about the need to appoint delegates to attend a general congress proposed for September in Philadelphia. The order includes an amount that each town should contribute to the expense of sending representatives. This order is directed to the Parish of Atkinson, and notes that the amount that parish should send is two pounds. Handwritten at the end is a note that indicates "The utility of which measure is so apparent we doubt not your ready compliance with this proposal," and is signed "J. Wentworth, Char; Porsmo, July 6th, 1774." The communication is followed by two notes, one of which is signed by John Giddinge.
