Summary
Samples of explosion debris collected inside the test fire tank after an ambient shot of TATB and a sub-ambient shot, were analyzed by capillary GC/MS. Phenol, dimethylbenzene, and several carboxylic acids and phthalates were identified. These compounds were determined to be of low toxicity. An in-vitro Chinese hamster ovary clonal cyclotoxicity assay confirmed the low toxicity. (DLC)
