- This annual evaluation report provides the accomplishments and progress of government-funded activities initiated, renewed, or completed during Fiscal Year 1984 (FY 1984: October 1, 1983 through September 30, 1984). It highlights the program tasks conducted in-house by the participating national laboratories or under contract by industrial, academic, or other research institutions. The focus of the STT program tasks is research and development leading to the commercial readiness of four primary solar thermal concepts: (1) central receiver, (2) parabolic dish, (3) parabolic trough, and (4) hemispherical bowl.
