Summary
This dataset is designed to show you how to analyse online surveys that collect both qualitative and quantitative data. This dataset addresses the steps necessary to design, conduct, and analyse a survey and provides illustrative data and analysis. The data are provided by Dr Lori Kirkpatrick (Western University) and Dr Michelle Searle (Queen's University) and draw from a project conducted by the researchers, in collaboration with a school board, during the 2020-2021 school year. The purpose of the research was to examine secondary school students' perspectives on mental health supports and challenges, the impact of COVID-19 on youth mental health, and the efficacy of the mental health and well-being supports available in the school board. The dataset files are accompanied by a teaching guide and a student guide.
