- Reports revenues by source and expenditures by function and object for public elementary/secondary school districts in the United States. The finance data presented here are from the F-33 survey, a component of the Common Core of Data (CCD). The CCD is the primary NCES database on public elementary and secondary education in the United States. NCES and the Governments Division of the US Census Bureau collaborate to collect public education finance data. Revenues and expenditures are audited after the close of the fiscal year and are then submitted to NCES by each state education agency.
